Applying for graduation online when the system is open for the term during which you intend to graduate — and paying graduation application fees online — is quick and easy.

The non-refundable application fee is $20 for each degree or certificate and you must submit a separate application for each one to receive a diploma for each, including for certificates that are embedded in an associate or bachelor degree. Once graduation requirements are verified, diplomas are generated, printed, and sent by É«¿âTV’s partner Parchment at a cost of $20 for each diploma. That’s why you must apply separately for each degree and certificate following the process below if you want a diploma for each. Please note that embedded certificates verified and earned as part of a degree will be reflected on the student transcript. Students who elect to pay a $20 application fee for just the degree when they apply to graduate, but who later want diplomas for embedded certificates can request those through the duplicate/replacement diploma process at the cost of $20 per diploma. Our goal is to fully explain the diploma options so you can make an informed choice as you apply to graduate.

• , then click on the Titan Web icon and under Student Records, click on "Apply to Graduate."
• In the Curriculum Selection area you must choose a Term from the dropdown. Choose the current term or last term attended.
• Select your current program and click the "Continue" button.
• If you receive a red error message that "Graduation Holds Exist" then you must view those Holds in your Message Center and clear the holds before you can apply to graduate. If a red error message says "You must select a Curriculum" please email graduation@easternflorida.edu
• In the Graduation Date Selection, you must select a date you plan to graduate (this is whether you will attend Commencement or not).
• In the Diploma Name Selection section, your diploma name is your legal name and you only have the option to change the middle name or suffix (Jr., Sr. etc.) If you need to change your legal name on file, you must submit a Personal Information Update Form.
• In the Diploma Mailing Address Section, verify and/or update the address on file.
• On the Graduation Application Summary Screen, review all the information before choosing to "Submit Request."
• After submitting the completed application, you will see a confirmation message. Please read this for important information about what happens after applying, including the requirement to RSVP "Yes" or "No" for Commencement. The separate, two-step process for Commencement RSVPs in which you choose a ceremony time and ceremony Guest Tickets is explained on the Commencement Ceremony web page.
• Remember that if you expect to earn embedded certificates as part of a degree and want a diploma for the certificate(s) as soon as possible once verified, you must submit a separate application and will be charged the non-refundable $20 fee for each application. If you want the certificate diploma later after it’s reflected on your transcript, you can request it through the duplicate/replacement diploma process which is the same $20 cost.
• Your graduation fee(s) will be assessed within 24 hours. Once the fee is assessed, make payment via your É«¿âTV student account. É«¿âTV will not release documents to students who have outstanding financial obligations. You will be assessed an additional $20 late fee if you apply to graduate after the deadline, and there is no guarantee your name will appear in the Commencement Booklet.
  
• PLEASE NOTE: The online graduation application is closed beginning the week of graduation each term. Starting on this date, all graduation applications must be in submitted using the PDF application explained in Number 4.

Please note: If it has been one year or more since you attended classes at É«¿âTV and you are applying to graduate and do not plan to continue in another program at É«¿âTV after your graduation, you will not need to readmit to the College just to apply to graduate. However, if you do plan to take É«¿âTV courses after your graduation and it has been one year or more since you were in attendance, you will need to follow the admission steps for a readmit student to become an active student again.

For students who apply to graduate online, after your application has been submitted, you will see a confirmation message that mentions Commencement.

Please read this for important information about what happens after applying, including the requirement to RSVP "Yes" or "No" for attending Commencement. If you indicated you plan to take part in Commencement, you are required to wear the appropriate É«¿âTV cap and gown for your degree or certificate program.

Please note, students are strongly encouraged to apply by the posted deadline and via the online process described in the section above. Applying online ensures an accurate and timely application process. Applying using this PDF method should be a last resort

If it is after the online system has closed or you cannot use that system for some reason, follow these steps to apply using the PDF application.

Download and complete an Intent to Graduate PDF application form for each degree and certificate you plan to receive. If you use the Graduation PDF application(s) they must be submitted via the Student Dropbox. The graduation application fee, plus the additional $20 late fee if applicable, will be assessed for each application within 1 to 2 business days and must be paid through your Student Account prior to any documents being processed and/or released.

Applying via PDF and Commencement: If your PDF Intent to Graduate form is submitted before the deadline to RSVP for Commencement, once the application has been entered into the system by graduation staff, you should see a Commencement RSVP pop-up screen in the myÉ«¿âTV Portal and will need to follow the separate, two-step process for Commencement RSVPs and ceremony Guest Tickets explained on the Commencement Ceremony web page. Remember, the preferred method to apply to graduate is using the online graduation application, submitted before the Commencement RSVP deadline, to ensure a smoother process.

Please note: If it has been one year or more since you attended classes at É«¿âTV and you are applying to graduate and do not plan to continue in another program at É«¿âTV after your graduation, you will not need to readmit to the College. When your application is received by the deadline, the Office of the Registrar will review your record:

1. You will be sent a notification of receipt to É«¿âTV Titan Student email address.

2. An official audit of your degree progress will be completed and a status letter will be emailed to your É«¿âTV Titan Student email address.

3. Please read the email carefully. If you have any outstanding documents, or missing requirements listed, they must be satisfied by the end of the term or you may not be able to graduate.

4. Check your É«¿âTV email frequently for important information related to your graduation status and for information about Commencement if you indicated you plan to take part in a ceremony.

5. Remember you are required to wear the appropriate É«¿âTV cap and gown for your degree or certificate program if taking part in Commencement. Regalia can be ordered or purchased on site through the É«¿âTV Bookstores. For additional information about the ceremony, visit the Commencement section.
